This study characterises the prevalence, onset and nature of musculoskeletal complaints in COVID-19 patients and explores their clinical significance. Statistics were performed using SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 26.0 (IBM Corp, Armonk, New York).Clinical characteristics were compared between patients with and without musculoskeletal symptoms, and between patients in the different musculoskeletal groups using the Mann-Whitney U test, Fishers exact test and one-way ANOVA as appropriate
