A study focused at identifying parameters such as symptom burden, response to treatment etc. for 101 inpatients with COVID-19 referred to hospital palliative care.
1. Urgent research is needed to understand more about symptom prevalence and management, and how best to deliver palliative care to those dying in ICU and community settings. 2. An international minimum data set for COVID-19 patients receiving palliative care would accelerate finding answers to these questions.
